As the war intensifies in Ukraine, Women on Web, an international online abortion service, is receiving more and more requests for abortion pills from Ukrainian refugees arriving in neighboring countries. Therefore, Women on Web is providing free services to anyone who has fled the war and who wants to terminate their pregnancy. We are in the process of adding more Ukrainian resources and information on our website, scaling up our service delivery and our online consultation is now available in Ukrainian language. The Ugandan government understands that the journey towards menstrual equity is a joint effort, requiring partnership and collaboration across sectors.
